A Journey of Inquiry
The Matriarch is an archetype — generative, ancient; a universal pattern of being. She calls and is heard by those willing to listen, to inquire, and to ground what they find in the cultures they move through.
This website is the trace of my response to that call. A journey — still unfolding — of inquiry into how the Matriarch archetype can be re-membered and embodied in our emergent cultures. Through listening and inquiring into what She is asking of us.
On my journey of listening and inquiring the Matriarch, I have learned that She becomes alive in the company of others. The Matriarch reveals herself through the relational field — between people, between us and the more-than-human world — and through the questions we carry together. A nomadic life across cultures has given me the ground for this inquiry. A collective inquiry, rooted in the practice of Conscious Collaboration, and unfolding in the spaces we create for each other.
Responding to the Call
These are the ways this inquiry takes shape here: through mentoring, through gatherings, through writing, through photography, and through song. Each is a different expression of the same listening. Together, they form an open ended tour carried by the joyful commitment to keep following the call.
A Tour Without a Fixed Map
This work comes from following what emerges — place by place, conversation by conversation. The gatherings are rooted in conscious collaboration, in specific locations and communities. The mentoring follows the relationships that find their way here. The writing and photography are companions to it all, catching what wants to be noticed along the way.
