Matriarch on Tour

An Invitation to Collaborate

What if the most important conversations of our time need every generation in the room?

Hello,

I’m Christiane, and I’m reaching out with an invitation that carries something I care about deeply.

Matriarch on Tour is a nomadic exploration born from decades of lived inquiry into Conscious Collaboration. It takes shape through gatherings — spaces where people can meet in ways that are honest, more connected, and more alive than the patterns modernity tends to normalize between generations.

This particular invitation is about one strand of that work: intergenerational gatherings — spaces where people of all ages meet with integrity and curiosity and discover what becomes possible when a relational ecology itself is shaped by all generations together.

Why this matters now

Many of us sense that the patterns of modernity have fractured something essential between generations. Older people often become invisible or are reduced to what they’ve already done. Younger people are spoken about, spoken for, or met with anxiety and sometimes even distrust rather than genuine curiosity. The trust and mutual recognition that intergenerational relationship requires often feels eroded — and with it, a capacity many sense is urgently need: the capacity to connect and remain connected across generational diversity.

In recent years I have had the privilege of being in conversation with so many beautiful, often much younger people who feel deeply called to be of service to humanity, to the more-than-human world, to life as a whole. They are Sourcekeepers of visions, practices, and ways of being that fill me with awe. From my perspective of an elder, I want to say this clearly: to me they are the promise of a future worth living.

An invitation to make this visible — together

Together, let us make sure the world knows about the beauty and devotion that younger generations are bringing to life. Let us inspire more elders to make themselves and their wisdom available in ways that are truly needed — with presence, with humility, with genuine care and compassion. And let us inspire younger generations to seek out the connection and dialogue with elders with curiosity and trust.

Together, we can support this by bringing us — people of all ages — into the kinds of conversations and encounters that this time is asking of us.

Why you may feel called to co-create this with me

You sense, in your own life and in the relational ecologies around you, that meaningful intergenerational connection has been missing — and that this absence matters.

You long for elder presence that comes without control, superiority, or prescription.

You are an elder who longs to be in genuine relationship with younger generations — to learn from them, to be challenged by them, and to offer what you carry.

You recognize that more life-serving ways of being together require real connection across generational diversity.

You feel drawn to creating a space where this can be explored in practice — not as theory, but as lived experience.

Does something here resonate? Can you feel it in your body? Then you may be exactly the person I am hoping to find.

What we can create together

Imagine a space that begins by tending the relational field — building enough trust and connection to hold what wants to be spoken. A space where participants can move through shared inquiry, reflection, and exchange: exploring often difficult things we carry across generations — and what we may want to compost so that more meaningful connections and relationships can grow.

A space that includes ritual, connection with the more-than-human world, meditation, and embodiment — a process that lives in the body, the heart, and the mind, and in relationship with all of life.

This is what we can shape together. The exact form would grow from you, from me, from the place, and from the people who gather.

What I bring

I bring a feminine elder presence shaped by many years of living, practicing, and sensing what helps relational fields deepen. I bring calm, careful listening, embodied awareness, and the capacity to hold a space where honest and sometimes difficult conversations can unfold without rushing to resolution.

As the Sourcekeeper of Conscious Collaboration — a practice of attunement to the patterns of life as they move through our relationships and shared endeavors — everything I bring grows from the decades of inquiry into this living field. From it, pathways emerged through which we can embrace tensions as the creative energy of life that shapes and evolves our relational ecologies. We can inquire and differentiate the layers each tension holds and integrate what emerges from this inquiry with care, concern, and compassion — for ourselves, for each other, and for all of life.

I also bring a genuine desire to learn. I do not come as someone who has the answers for younger generations. I come as someone who believes that when different generations come together with open hearts and genuine curiosity, something becomes possible that neither generation can access alone.

How we can shape this together

Each gathering is shaped uniquely — with you as local co-host, with the place, with the people, and with the questions that are alive in your context.

You bring

Your relationship to the people and the place, your sense of what is needed, your own experience and longing. This may include finding a location, inviting the people who are meant to be there, and supporting the local coordination that lets the gathering take form.

I bring

Decades of lived inquiry, elder presence, relational depth, and experience in Conscious Collaboration.

Together, we shape and hold the gathering so that it is true to its context and alive to what wants to emerge.

A possible next step

If you feel a yes somewhere in your body as you read this — or even a curious maybe — I would love to hear from you. We can begin to sense together whether an intergenerational gathering is wanting to take shape where you are, and whether we are called to co-create it together.

I look forward to hearing from you and to exploring together how our collaboration can take shape.
